The aim of this book is to spur you on to get up and run. Especially if you have never ran before. Sometimes it is good to force yourself up to make the effort. Many think about running but never get up off their couch to actually see what it is like.

He seems to understand that some of us may literally be setting off from a standing start.This book offers an 8 week programme, with a two-part plan which takes one from being "pretty unfit" to being able to run continuously for 10 - 20 minutes. The books suggests what kit you should have, the best type of food (fuel)as well as suggesting how often you should run every week.
You are literally guided 'step by step' from your first 20 second run all the way to a life-embracing 20 minute run.
